Andrea Yegüez

Lead Resident - Urology

Andrea graduated from Georgetown University in 2017 with a B.S. in Neurobiology with a minor in Studio Art and from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in 2021. She is currently a Urologic Surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania. She has conducted research on miscommunications and misconceptions among Spanish speaking Latinas with urologic diseases and is interested in continuing this work. She has also conducted work on integrating surgical health disparities curriculum into undergraduate medical education. Originally from Venezuela, Andrea is committed to advocating for and serving the Latinx community and other underserved populations throughout her training and future career.
